The World Credit Union Conference is designed for high-level credit union leaders from around the globe including credit union staff, board of directors, supervisory committee members and international regulators.
The World Council Young Credit Union People (WYCUP) program is an annual scholarship and event to promote and engage the next generation of credit union leaders in the international credit union movement. The scholarship is awarded to five outstanding nominees who have made significant contributions to their credit union systems and have the potential to make a global credit union impact.
The 2017 WYCUP scholarship will be awarded at the World Credit Union Conference in Vienna, Austria, 23 – 26 July, for an all-expense-paid attendance at the 2018 World Credit Union Conference. To learn more please click here.
Translation/interpretation will be provided in Spanish and Portuguese for the 2017 Conference. Translation will be offered in the keynote session room for all sessions hosted in this venue and one additional breakout session. This information will be provided in all of the onsite informational materials.
Headsets will be provided to attendees who have requested either Spanish or Portuguese translation during their registration. The attendees will keep their headset for the entire duration of the conference. Headsets must be returned after the final sessions on Wednesday. Attendees who do not return their headsets will be subject to a fee.
Please note that hotel cancellation policies without penalty vary greatly amongst the conference hotels from 90 days to 24 hours prior to check-in. Once hotels are posted, please read your specific hotel’s policy carefully to avoid cancellation fees.
Registrations cancelled on or before 2 June 2017 are subject to a $100 USD cancellation fee. Registration fees are non-refundable after 2 June 2017. Cancellations and refund requests must be requested in writing to the World Council of Credit Unions, Registration Coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Refunds are not provided for delegates who do not attend the conference.
Attendees can substitute registrations but may be charged an additional fee depending on the registration type. All requests for substitutions need to be submitted in writing to Kassandra Rauch at email@example.com. We suggest making any substitutions by 7 July 2017 to ensure that any onsite materials are updated for the new attendee.
Yes, security requires that all registered participants wear their name badge in order to gain admission to conference events/sessions. Those without a name badge may be denied entrance. See the on-site registration desk if you misplace your name badge.
Pre/post tours, day trips, Executive Series, WYCUP and the Fun Run can be selected during registration here. Attendees can login to their account and make adjustments as needed after they complete their conference registration.
